•Those eligible for the position are the parents of Booth 6th graders and parents of 5th graders at our feeder elementary who will be attending Booth MS next year.
•The prospective council member should be willing to serve for two years, attend approximately five meetings each year, participate in a 1-hour School Advisory Council training session in June, and represent the parents of our students in school related decision making.

*The names of the top nominees will be posted on the J.C. Booth Middle School web site:www.jcbooth.org. Elections will be held electronically during the the week of April 28 – May 2, 2014. We would like to announce the newly elected members of the 2013-2015 School Advisory Council:
- Parent Representative: Beth Rose from Kedron ES
- Teacher Representative: Carolyn Comer – 6th grade science teacher
The last School Advisory Council meeting for the school year will take place on Monday May 13 at 4:10pm in the front office conference room.
Reminder: For safety reasons students are not allowed on the school campus prior to 7:30 am. The only exception is if the student has a written pass from their teacher. Students are also required to be off campus by 4 pm unless they are involved in athletics or a teacher-sponsored activity. Thank you for your cooperation!
